The Color Turquoise: Aqua Blue Walls in My Bathroom

Turquoise paint color on my bathroom walls
My bathroom walls used to have pink paint below the wood trim, and wallpaper above the trim that had a white background and small pink polka dots. I used aqua / turquoise color as an accent in the bathroom, and was always looking for bathroom accessories and towels in that color.
When the wallpaper started to look worn, I decided it was time to paint. I decided to make the whole bathroom aqua and white.
First I had to remove the wallpaper, which was easy with a steamer. Then I painted the bottom half of the wall and all the trim white, and the top half of the wall my favorite shade of aqua, which matched the towels I already had.
I used a latex gloss paint for both colors. I think having a solid color and a monochromatic paint color scheme makes the small bathroom look larger. I think the aqua color looks clean and cool.
Here's a tip for keeping your painted walls and woodwork looking nice:
Save a little bit of each color of paint you use in your house by putting some in small glass jars with lids. Baby food or or small condiment jars work well.
Put a label on the jar that says which room in the house that paint goes with, and keep them in a handy place.
If your walls get smudges or scratches, it's much quicker and easier to touch them up with paint from the little jars than to rummage in the basement and have to stir up paint from a big can.
